7 TIPS ON OPTIMALLY USING DISHWASHER

PLACE SETTINGS
A ‘place setting’ consists of the following table ware: soup plate, dinner plate, dessert plate, saucer, tall glass, cup, teaspoon, soup spoon, dessert spoon, fork & knife. Generally, a dishwasher with 12 place settings is ideal for a family of 4, 3 meals daily.
DISHWASHER-SAFE
Before loading your dishes, always check that they are dishwasher-safe to avoid cracking, warping or discolouration. In general, materials like aluminum, cast iron, pewter, brass, tin and bronze are not suitable for washing in dishwashers as they are sensitive to high heat.
SCRAPE OFF LARGE FOOD PARTICLES
Large food particles may get stuck and clog the drain filter. For optimal washing results, ensure large food bits are scraped off with a spoon before loading the dishes in the dishwasher.
DISHES FACING DOWN
Spray arms are located near the dishwasher center, below the baskets, spraying water upwards using powerful jets. Dishes that are facing down allows better washing results.Ensure dishes do not overlap, which may prevent water jets from reaching certain parts of the dishes, posing difficulty for thorough cleaning.
ORGANISING DISHES
Place less soiled dishes, or delicate pieces including porcelain or china in the top basket for gentler wash. Please heavily soiled dishes in the bottom tray for more intense cleaning. Taller items like pots and pans only fit in the bottom basket.
SELECTING PROGRAM
Choose the most suitable program for the load’s washing needs. According to how soiled your dishes are, you can select a shorter running time, higher temperature, extra rinse, and provide a hygienic clean for baby bottles and utensils. Refer to user manual for detailed instructions
AVOID OVERDOSING DETERGENT
If you are not using a dishwasher detergent tablet, check the dishwasher manual for the recommended dosage of powder or liquid detergent. This ensures that the right amount is used for different cycles, for the best wash results.
