Myth: Adding more detergent = cleaner clothes.

Fact: When it comes to adding detergent to your laundry, avoid adding too much detergent. We might be tempted to use more laundry detergent, thinking that it will result in cleaner clothes. However, an excess of detergent will not help to get your clothes any cleaner. In fact, excessive suds can cause soils to redeposit onto fabrics as well as leave residue and build up in the washer itself.
